Fruit on Metal - this is a title of a new exhibition as well as the
newest painting by Petro Smetana which will be presented in the
contemporary art gallery "Green Sofa" from 3rd to 22nd of April.
Petro believes in the irrationally-romantic worldview in art.
Cold-blooded PR techniques are not to his taste. Neither is commerce.

Although he can paint "black snow" or "a house of a hangman" , and
paraphrases the classic artist-model pattern with a great deal of
irony and sarcasm, he still doesn't write complex concepts to these
works because his main expressive device remains His Majesty the
