Nadia Didyk “Reflections”. June 6 – July 2, 2023
Reflections are the process of deep self-discovery. My creative formulas are nourished by emotions and associations. Whatever I pictured – form or motif, is a thought process, an evolution of things that I can feel as an artist, and not just see.
An artistic view of the awareness of light and space determines the form and texture. The source of my inspiration is the play of pure colors, and their harmony, and the world of images and things that surround me in my everyday life. The exhibition of paintings from 2004 to 2023 is a kind of introspection of knowledge and skills.
This is a “look back” to understand the limits of one’s own actions. An attempt to express a reflection of impressions, and the main thing is a mood. An attempt to catch a moment and convey it to the audience by appropriate means.
Through creativity, I open myself to a more complete perception of the world. And the existence of the concept of reflection is impossible without communication.
