#PAINTEDINMOUNTAINS. Plain air`s paintings/ Olga Lokatyr, Maria Grim and Oleksander Vasilenko. 16.01.- 11.02.2018
Three of the Dnipro artists: Olga Lockatyr (now she lives in Lviv, head of the model gallery of ceramics “Gorytsvit”), Maria Grim (head of the Center for Art and Technological Development in the Dnipro City Palace of Children and Youth, head of children’s art studio, teacher of art school) and Oleksandr Vasylenko (teacher of the Dnipro Artistic School) – in addition to joint classes, pedagogical work, they have another common capture – the drawing of landscapes from nature.
An inexhaustible source of inspiration for them was the Carpathian Mountains. Oh, how many Lviv people drew them … Artists from the Dnipro managed to see the Carpathians on their own way. In their paintings, they quickly draw on numerous plein-airs – the mountains of expression. The skill gained by many years of work of the painter allows us to experience the incredible ease and mobility of their etudes. This is a real pleasure for lovers of impressionism and all the original trends in painting, drawing on a millionth variation of impressions and reflections of the natural landscape.
Artists from Dnipropetrovsk will present their works for the first time in Lviv. Their exhibition will be held for the first time in such a close circle. Almost personal.
The Gallery “Green sofa” is happy to present the audience new fresh names, which undoubtedly worthy of our attention.
