Today we offer you the example of the artistic dynasty.

Ivan Turetskyy is a painter well known in Ukraine as a collector-intellectual and one of the leading contemporary Ukrainian heraldysts.

At the time, Ivan was involved in the creation of the State Emblem of independent Ukraine and a new emblem of the city.

And his daughter, Olga Turetska, already known for our visitors of the “Green Sofa” Art Gallery. Two years ago, she made her solo exhibition here in fusing technique – sintering of colored glass.

Although artists represent two different techniques, have something in common in their work, allowing them to seamlessly co-exist on a joint exhibition.

This is a combination of transparent iridescent incomprehensibly rich “color transformations” that every author has implemented in its own way.

Ivan Turetskyi, in painting, through geometrical something close to of Art Deco stile delicate and intelligent abstraction. In the works of recent years, daring color combinations fascinate the audience and immerse it in a meditative – contemplative state, that absorbs and encourages hear the “music” of color.

Olga Turetska skillfully combines elements of sintered glass colored in different compositions, they shimmer with different shades and enchanting reflective.

Olga’s compositions are often inspired by wildlife. The artist drawn to the children’s issues, which is close to her. Over the past two years in her studio was established over 14 fabulous showcases for “Caramel Manufactory” in Lviv, Odessa, Kiev, Kharkov, Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil, Uzhgorod, Mukachevo, Truskavets, Khmelnytsky, Chernivtsi and Bratislava.

All the works of artists that you see in this exhibition are the synthesis of ideas, emotions and love for color.

Background:

Ivan Turetskyi
Born in August 17, 1956  in Krasnoyarsk.

He graduated from the Lviv Art College named after Ivan Trush. In 1982 he graduated from Lviv State Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts.

Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. Also he is a co-founder and member of the “Ukrainian Heraldry Society”.

Ivan Turetskyy is a co-author to the State Emblem of Ukraine and a new emblem of the city.

He collaborated with the Association of Ukrainian philatelists in Austria and has created more than 60 projects. For more than twenty years he develops state awards, emblems public and private projects marks, copyright designs of playing cards, bookplates for cultural elite of Ukraine. Ivan works in painting, drawing and heraldry. His works are in private collections in Ukraine and abroad.

Exhibition activity began in 1989. In the last 5 years participated in the following exhibitions:
