The Green Sofa Galery – the gallery of contemporary art – presents the exhibition of two artists – ceramists: Hanna Drul and Iryna Marko. They are actively exhibiting since the end of 80s and their creative tandem as well as solo projects received high respect in the field of artistic ceramics of Ukraine. Their works can be found in the museums of Ukraine and in private collections throughout the USA and Europe. In this show they present around 20 pieces – some straight from the kiln.

We are invited into the ceramic garden created by Hanna Drul and Iryna Marko. Their garden is full of seductively symbolic and abstract plants and fruit- the territory of conclusions and expectations.

The authors joke:”because the garden is not like forest – what you grow – you get”. They like all of us search the directions and answer for the questions – what is the reason for art/life? Artists live by intuition, they can’t always word out what they feel but they can express it in their art works.
